Position Overview
This role will work directly with a manufacturer located in Battle Creek, MI, and will be required to be on-site up to three days per week.
Circana, the world’s leading advisor on consumer behavior with a focus on point-of-sale (POS) data, is seeking sharp analytical minds to execute, analyze, and present findings to our clients.
Use your energy and motivation to evaluate research data, uncover key insights, and recommend actionable steps that directly impact the bottom line for our clients in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
Job Responsibilities
Client Insights Analysts at Circana possess and execute four key skill sets :
- Analytical Capability : Apply a systematic approach to problem-solving by breaking down issues into smaller components, assessing implications, generating multiple alternatives, and comparing potential solutions before taking action.
- Quality Control : Strive for high-quality results through effective data integrity management.
- Planning and Organizing : Assess the effort and resources required to meet objectives; plan, coordinate, and manage resources efficiently to ensure tasks are completed successfully.
- Client Focus : Prioritize client satisfaction and consistently follow through on commitments to ensure client needs are met.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in category management, market research, sales, or marketing, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG industry).
- Proven ability to translate point-of-sale (POS) data and analysis into meaningful insights utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in working with technology and syndicated data solutions such as Circana / IRI / NPD or similar platforms.
- Solid project management and process skills.
- Capability to engage with clients in a consultative manner while solving and managing content deliverables.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000.
