PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Oxnard, CA.
This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description :
Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades : carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair and electrical.
Requirements :
High School Diploma and a minimum 2 years’ experience working as a maintenance technician.
US Citizenship
Basic understanding of vacuum, electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Strong electrical skills.
Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned
Collecting and taking out trash and recycling
Emptying trash cans
Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
