We are seeking a Weekend Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will provide healthcare services, under the supervision of a physician.
You will always have help when you need it.
Responsibilities :
- Medical procedures such as laceration repair and abscess I&D
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients of all ages
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment needed for patient care
- Friendly, energetic and able to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The patient load is 2-3 per hour and the shift will be single coverage. There is much support from staff and a physician is always available.
Applicant would need Urgent Care experience since you will be functioning on your own with physician remote supervision at all times.
