About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery / OB / GYN Job Duration : Shift : Nights, 12 hours Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Previous OB / LD experience required;
- Fetal Monitoring experience preferred License : Current RN licensure in New Hampshire required Certifications : NRP, STABLE required;
AWHONN preferred Must-Have : EMR Experience Job Description : Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients.
- Work independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
- Engage in a collaborative team environment alongside an established OB / GYN and pediatric group.- Assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Cross-train in all aspects of obstetrical care in the Birthing Suite.- Manage a unit ratio of 1 : 1 for active labor and 1 : 2 / 3 for mother / baby, with no OR / C-Section knowledge required.
- Provide personalized nursing care, offering a wide range of birthing options from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia.
- Maintain certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE.- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN or higher is preferred.
