Highly experienced Team Lead Data Science Strategist with a strong background in Python and SQL Natural Language Processing NLP experience is a plus This role combines technical leadership strategic thinking and handson expertise to drive innovative data science solutions The successful candidate will lead a team of data scientists engage with stakeholders at all levels and design strategies to leverage data insights for business growth

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership Road mapping
• oDefine and implement the data science strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives
• oLead strategic initiatives around data science AI and machine learning
• oCollaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can provide business value
• oDevelop roadmaps and timelines for data science initiatives ensuring alignment with broader business goals
• oKeep up to date with the latest developments in data science to propose new projects and solutions
• Team Leadership Development
• oLead and mentor a team of data scientists and data engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
• oProvide technical guidance and direction to the team in areas such as machine learning data modeling and NLP
• oDrive continuous learning within the team encouraging best practices in coding data analysis and problemsolving
• Technical Expertise HandsOn Work
• oDesign develop and deploy data science solutions using Python SQL
• oImplement machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling classification clustering and sentiment analysis
• oOptimize SQL queries for largescale data processing and integration with machine learning models
• oCollaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and availability
• Project Management Execution
• oOversee the entire lifecycle of data science projects from ideation through deployment and monitoring
• oManage project timelines resources and deliverables ensuring the successful completion of initiatives
• oEnsure all models and solutions are thoroughly tested validated and optimized for performance in production environments
• oContinuously improve model accuracy efficiency and scalability by applying best practices and leveraging new technologies

Key Qualifications

Experience

• 12 years of experience in data science machine learning and AI with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role
• Experience in designing and deploying NLP solutions in realworld applications is a plus
• Deep handson experience with Python SQL and librariesframeworks related to data science eg pandas NumPy scikitlearn TensorFlow PyTorch
• Technical Expertise
• Expertlevel proficiency in Python for data analysis machine learning
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction transformation and processing from large databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS GCP or Azure and experience deploying models in production environments
• Experience with MLOps and version control tools Git Docker etc is a plus
• Leadership Communication
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and guide teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with crossfunctional teams and managing stakeholder expectations

Project Management

• Experience in managing and delivering multiple data science projects simultaneously
• Ability to set priorities manage resources and deliver results under tight deadline

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field
• Familiarity with big data tools Spark Hadoop and distributed computing
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib for reporting insights
