Job Summary
Wright Worldwide Inc., is currently seeking Security Professionals for a Commercial Property located on Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.
This assignment consists of patrolling a garage, an office building, high-end retail and a restaurant by foot and golf cart.
Pay is $14.50-$15.00 an hour depending on qualifications. A $300 dollar signing bonus will be paid to successful applicants who complete probationary requirements.
Note* This is a currently a12-hour shift assignment. The current shift hours are 7a-7p and 7p-7a. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A COMBINATION OF BOTH SHIFTS IF REQUIRED.
T HE SHIFTS WILL TRANSITION TO TWO 12 HOUR SHIFTS AND TWO 8 HOUR SHIFTS WITHIN THE NEXT 30-45 DAYS . In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment by foot patrol and golf cart.
You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences of thefts, loitering, or violence.
The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.
Successful applicants with the right pedigree have the opportunity to fulfill other assignments within the company to make extra hours at a higher pay rate.
This job site is at 1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL. IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED FOR 7p-7a MON / TUES and 3p-11p SAT / SUN.
ALSO HIRING FOR OVERNIGHT RELIEF STAFF TO FILL IN WHEN WE HAVE CALL OUTS. This post requires an individual who is able to withstand foot patrol, stairs, elevator and operate a golf cart.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the premises (by foot and golf cart);and maintain a high level of visibility
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
- Remove trespassers when necessary
- Monitor surveillance cameras
- Respond to reports of suspicious activity
- Report on daily activities and any security incidents via guard management software
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
- Current D License as a security officer
- High school diploma / GED
- Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Must be neatly groomed
- Must have reliable transportation that extends past public transportation hours
- Must be able to walk / stand for long periods of time
- Must be a problem solver
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
