Job Summary
Works closely with Financial Advisors to understand client objectives and goals and to develop financial plans and client presentations.
Prepares all materials including portfolio allocation, tax and retirement projections, financial statements, long-term cash flows, review and interpretation of employee benefits, long-term incentive plan (LTIP) analyses, estate and education plan preparation, and survivor or insurance analyses.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Works in a team environment in support of the financial planning process from discovery to plan delivery. Maintains communication with team members as needed to coordinate the process.
- Works closely with Financial Advisors to understand client objectives and goals.
- Prepares all materials for new financial plans or plan updates for client meetings including portfolio allocation, tax and retirement projections, financial statements, long-term cash flows, review and interpretation of employee benefits, stock options / long-term incentive plan (LTIP) analyses, estate and education plan preparation, and survivor insurance analyses.
- Performs research to determine cost basis of client assets, to review company benefits and securities transactions.
- Performs research as needed to understand and analyze client circumstances in the context of federal and state tax law, financial markets, and the social security system.
- Communicates with clients to answer questions and to obtain information to complete financial analysis. Meets with clients as needed.
- Executes trades at the request of Financial Planners, or may serve as backup asset management trader, during financial planner's absence.
- Ensures that all required information and documentation is obtained and filing deadlines are met.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
- Assists less experienced team members as requested.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
Performs other related duties as required.

Shift First Alternate Location Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience :
Three years job related experience in financial services.

- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products

- Series 7 and 63
- Familiarity with one or more financial planning applications, such as EMoney or similar financial planning application.
