MedAdventures a division of Icon Medical Network is looking for an Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our partner's full-time team surrounding Central Texas including but not limited to : Austin, Bastrop, Harker Heights, Hutto and Round Rock
This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY for a FULL-TIME Nurse Practitioner
Key Responsibilities for the Pediatric NP :
- Non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality health care to patients
- Provides examines, diagnoses and treats to patients ages twenty-one (21) and younger
- Act as a consultant on pediatric cases referred by other staff providers of LSCC
- Completes medical charts after each visit in the electronic medical records system
- Participates in providing continuity of care in outpatient management
Requirements :
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (PNP)
- Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive Pediatric experience will also be considered
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Background in Pediatric Nursing
Preferred Experience :
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PNP)
- Three (3) years’ experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in healthcare clinical setting
- Previous work using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Bilingual English / Spanish language skills required for South Austin location only
