Indiana University Health Arthritis and Rheumatology division in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine , is seeking an outstanding clinical Rheumatologist to join our well-established group at the Academic Health Center in Indianapolis, Indiana .
Partner with a strong Fellowship program for collaborative clinical research and medical learner teaching.
Job Description
- Full-Time Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm
- Call : Hospital coverage 6-8 weeks / year ( IU Rheumatology Fellow takes first call )
- 95% Outpatient, Specialty Rheumatology clinics
- 7-10 patient visits per session
- Emphasis on continued professional and clinical educational development
Qualifications :
- Must be BC / BE and eligible for licensure in Indiana
- Open to current fellows and practicing physicians

Facility Description

With 1,000 beds, IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds. It serves as the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, as well as a highly subspecialized center for cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care.
IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals.
Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds.
IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
