The Manager - HR Operations will oversee the successful execution of HR processes and technologies to drive an efficient and optimal employee experience.
This position is responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality technologies, processes and compensation strategies to support a world-class employee experience.
Additional duties include external benchmarking, HR policy development and deployment, as well as driving project management across the HR function.
There are four main areas of focus : Benefits, Payroll, HR Compliance, and HR Systems.
What you'll do :
- Build a high performing HR Operations Team that drives results through a simple, easy to understand structure that makes HR adaptable and efficient.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive ongoing improvements through standardizing, automating and consolidating processes in support of HR strategy goals.
- Identify problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions. Drive operational performance and service excellence within the HR Operations team and monitor performance of the team against defined performance / quality standards.
- Ownership of HR analytics, OKR's and cross-departmental scorecards.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization utilizing HR systems (Paycor & Compass) to deliver value to our employees and internal stakeholders.
Payroll :
- Oversee execution and management of end-to-end payroll processing, documentation, validation and disbursement of all on-cycle and off cycle monthly and semimonthly payroll processing for all tesa North America entities.
- Identifies process improvements to streamline overall payroll processes.
- Responsible for annual payroll compliance audits. Manage annual leave tracking and reporting.
Total Rewards :
- Responsible for administering an attractive and cost-effective benefits package through close linkage with benefits brokers and service providers.
- Maintains compensation policies and benchmarking annually and integrates across all HR systems and subfunctions.
- Responsible for wellness and recognition initiatives to drive a healthy and engaged workforce.
- Design and implement compensation programs that are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
HRIS :
- Ownership of all regional HRIS functions with responsibility for data accuracy and timely input into global systems. Responsible also for ensuring the regional HR team, managers, and employees are briefed & trained on the system and any new functionality adopted by the region.
- Accountable for efficient and effective usage of all HR systems (including SuccessFactors / Compass, Paycor, etc.), driving process improvement activities where necessary.
- Produces HR data, monthly scorecards, and analytics for senior leadership to evaluate overall organizational health.
- Ensures 100% data integrity across all HRIS platforms through development and deployment of ongoing audits and processes.
- Develop and deliver HR metrics and reporting to measure and monitor the effectiveness of HR shared services and identify opportunities for improvement.
Other duties :
- Act as primary point-of-contact when supporting internal and / or external audits with regards to HR Operational topics (Payroll, Benefits, Systems, Compensation)
- Serve as the regional point-of-contact for the International Assignment Committee (IAC), overseeing the process for international contracts and relocations involving the North American region
- Develop and measures internal SLA's for basic HR execution across the function
- Manage the HR shared services budget and ensure resources are utilized effectively
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll need :
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Human Resources preferred)
- 7+ years overall HR experience with at least 2 years in a shared services role including direct experience in HRIS, compensation and benefits
- 2+ years of people leader experience
- HRIS System experience in Paycor and SuccessFactors (preferred)
- World at Work certification (preferred)
