Summary As the Director, Global Physical Security - Data Centers, you will be responsible for developing and managing the company's global physical security policies, processes, and standards for a data center facility including oversight of the design, delivery and on-going security operations.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and a strong focus on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with global and regional teams to develop and manage global physical security operational policies, processes, and standards.
- Meet with current and potential customers to present the company's standards and programs and to understand their physical security standards and requirements.
- Partner with Design, Delivery, and IT to develop physical security design, selection of security equipment, tools, and systems, and enhancement of security systems.
- Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard physical and access to the data center.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans for all physical security incidents including participating in response efforts during emergencies, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Lead global and regional physical security vendor partner selection for security services.
- Lead global and regional management of security vendor partners through recurring business reviews and quality control processes.
Manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with operational and security standards
- Develop Physical Security Risk Matrix and Maturity Program.
- Work with Design, Construction, and Delivery Teams to commission physical security systems.
- Conduct and participate in site audits and assessments to verify compliance with physical security and operational standards.
- Champion innovative approaches to physical security including the use of new technology, AI and Robotics.
- Develop and deliver global security training programs based on operational policies, processes, and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the operations and security teams
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Center Physical Security in a leadership capacity.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Global Organization with highly secured physical assets.
- Strong knowledge of data center hardware, networking, and security technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
- Top Secret Security Clearance preferred.
- Proficient in MS Products, AutoCAD and / or other engineering software packages.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication and collaboration in a team environment.
- Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail
- Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity

Actual compensation offered will be finalized at offer and may be above the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education / certifications, or geographic location.
