Maintenance Technician

Position Title : Full-time, Part-time, or Per-diem Maintenance Technician

Position Scope : The Maintenance Technician will work under the direct supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator and the Assistant Facilities Maintenance Coordinator on an as-needed basis. The employee will complete duties as assigned. The employee may be assigned to either the EDJHH or the Hospice office building.

Essential Functions :

• Perform routine maintenance
• Cleans and maintains buildings / facilities as assigned.
• May be expected to make basic repairs and maintenance, including outdoor maintenance
• May order and distribute supplies as directed
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field related to maintenance.
• May work in varied capacities with the HOH / TSLC  transportation service line as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator or VP of Clinical Services.
• May be required to assist with the transportation of meals and / or participants.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Communicates availability as directed
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• May be assigned to either the EDJHH or the main office building as the base office.
• May be required to travel to all HOH / TSLC offices / locations
• Other job duties as assigned
