Certified recreational therapist. BLS (AHA), MAB
1 year exp. Needed. Assumes the responsibility for the design, development and administration of recreation and leisure programs to meet the assessed needs, interests, and capabilities of the patients in the Behavioral health Unit.
Coordinates programs with other departments in the hospital and interfaces with all personnel as appropriate. Contributes to program development, quality improvement and problem solving in an interdisciplinary fashion.
Uses all resources in the development of leisure plans.
