Now offering a $2,000 Hiring Bonus!

This bonus applies to those hired after April 1, 2022 as a full-time, regular employee.

The hiring bonus does NOT apply to temporary workers, seasonal, part-time, or previous employees.

The bonus will be paid out quarterly over the first year of employment. Payment details will be given to those hired on with Builders Supply!

About Us

Builders Supply is the Midwest’s largest independently owned lumberyard, owned 100% by its employees. For more than 70 years, Builders Supply has provided service to contractors and the public for all of their commercial and residential building needs.

About the Role

The Yard Associate is responsible for assisting loading customer, stocking shelves and keeping the warehouse in order.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Load and unload building materials

Safely operate a forklift

Provide quality customer service and communication

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Other duties as assigned

Skills we are looking for

Self-starter with detailed-oriented personality

Excellent verbal communication skills

Knowledge of building materials helpful

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol)

Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties

Minimally must be able to lift >

50 pounds without assistance
