An exciting SF-based biotech is hiring for a Senior Director of Drug Product Development (Late-Stage).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Lead formulation development strategy from preformulation through commercialization and life cycle management
- Lead late-stage manufacturing for small molecule drug product development
- Lead all DP scale-up and tech transfer operations
- Contribute to late-stage regulatory filings
- Manage CDMO relationships to ensure successful completion of DP development
The ideal candidate will have the following :
- Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 15 years of industry experience
- Extensive background in small molecule formulation development (specifically oral solid dosage forms)
- Hands-on experience in late-stage formulation development, scale-up, validation, tech transfer, etc.
- Extensive people leadership and teambuilding experience
