The hourly rate starts at$28.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skillsand qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior jobexperience, market data, and other relevant factors.

Additionalcompensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonusor commssions on completed sales. This is the Company's good faithand reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for thisposition as of the time of posting.

Responsibilities

As a local ServiceTechnician, you will play a vital role in installing and repairingpropane tanks for our customers while ensuring the higheststandards of safety and customer service.

Duties include, but arenot limited to :

• Safely operate a propaneservice vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided serviceroutes
• Perform repairs on existing propanetanks for commercial and residential customers
• Install new propane tanks / systems forcommercial and residential customers
• On anas-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such asdelivering bulk or canister propane
• Perform alldaily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal andstate codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety andOperations Policies and Procedures
• Consistentuse of required Personal ProtectiveEquipment
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work8 to 12-hour shifts

Requirements

• All Service Techniciansshould have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tankerendorsements
• Acceptable drivingrecord
• Satisfactory completion of a DOTphysical, drug test and backgroundcheck
• Willingness to work outdoors in allweather conditions
• Ability to lift up to70lbs
