Short Description : The IT Senior Project Manager position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of a large enterprise scale technology replacement project.

Complete Description : Material and Child Health project - Resource will ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame, funding parameters and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have an engaging personality with the ability to communicate and engage all levels of the business and user community.

The individual selected must be comfortable with technology, possess good analytical skills, and possess superior customer service skills.

Individual must be a team player willing to do what is needed to get the job done.

Essential Duties / Job Responsibilities :

Executes the project plans and activities following project management best practices ensuring quality and integrity of the information throughout the entire life cycle of the project.

Interacts with stakeholders across the organization including Sr. Leadership and Executives in order to accomplish goals, while successfully delivering project and improving business processes.

Guides and facilitates stakeholders throughout the organization in establishing detailed requirements for complex projects.

Defines and document the project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with those stakeholders and key technical resources to deliver projects on-time, on budget, and with promised results.

• Create, manage, and maintain the project schedule, from initial creation throughout entire project life cycle.
• Independently manages assigned projects to ensure outcomes match agreed upon customer expectations and outcomes.
• Lead project team status meetings to ensure the project milestones are met and dependencies are tracked.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, including project health, risks, and issues.
• Manage project risks and issues, identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks and providing solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage project scope changes and ensure that they are documented, reviewed, and approved by stakeholders.
• Manage project change control affecting project constraints including time, cost, scope, resources, quality, and risk.
• Ensure IT systems and workflows are well-documented for future reference.
• Participate in QA and UAT planning and execution.
• Create and maintain all forms of project documentation and records.
• Perform post-implementation reviews to ensure goals were met and identify lessons learned.

Desired Education and Experience :

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies is required.
• Strong experience leading, facilitating and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects required.
• Strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals required.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills required.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization required.
• Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization;

ability to manage projects to successful conclusion.

• Demonstrable experience in managing vendor relations and partnerships within the project lifecycle.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks beyond the routine.
• High degree of independence, intuition, and initiative.
• Ability to maintain composure and control when projects do not proceed as planned.
• Ability to manage the work of a team engaged in providing specific services and projects.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Project, Visio and Office.
• Prior healthcare industry experience highly preferred.
• PMP, Scrum or similar certifications desired.
• New COTS implementation experience - Highly desired.
• Strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems desired.

Questions :

Question 1 : Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her absence.

The Client has the right to dismiss the resource if he or she does not return to work by the agreed upon date. Do you agree to this requirement?

• Question 4 : Candidate must be paid $81.21 for engagement. The provider markup for this position is 35%. Do you accept this requirement?
• Question 5 : Client is willing to consider both local and non-local candidates. Local candidates are preferred and will be required to work a hybrid schedule with onsite 3 days per week.

If the candidate lives out of state the work will be 100% remote. Please confirm the resource understands the work schedule.

• Question 6 : Vendors will have the ability to submit 1 candidate for consideration against the position.
• Question 7 : Duration of position will be 18 months. Please confirm the resource understands the duration of the project.
