Louis, MO Compensation of Machinist : Pay up to $22 The candidate needs to be able to read a blueprint, and have CNC experience.
Should be knowledgeable on how to operate grinders, lathes, and milling machines and equipment. This person should have good analytical, and problem-solving skills to understand the plan based on the needs of our customer's specifications.
Pandjiris creates parts within a certain tolerance and uses precision instruments, and measurements so having good math skills would be a requirement.
Responsibilities of the Machinist
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by performing in-process inspections on machine output.
- Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum productivity and adherence to the production schedule.
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
- Set up machines to run parts per print
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
- Maintain and clean machines before or after each shift.
Qualifications of a Machinist
- Ability to read a production drawing and determine dimensions and tolerances
- Ability to operate manual lathes and mills proficiently
- Strong preference is given to NC / CNC / Lathe / Mill experience
- Proficiency in basic math, and use of a calculator
- Ability to read, interpret, and modify CNC programs
- Technical degree in an area of specialty or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Good time management skills.
