Summary :
A Sheet Metal Fabricator supports production by fabricating sheet metal products.
Main responsibilities :
- Uses a pem serter brake , notcher, shear or punching machine to fabricate sheet metal products used for production of products.
- Ability to use hand tools, drill, tap, deburr, etc.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Leader.
- Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor.
- Maintain a clean work area and follows safety regulations.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements and maintains a high standard of quality.
Qualifications and experience :
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- 2 5 years experience in sheet metal operation
- Strong sense of urgency
- Good communication skills
- CNC knowledge a plus
