    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive OB / GYN care, including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and managing ectopic pregnancies and ovarian torsion.
  • Handle call duties with a 1 : 4 ratio, addressing inquiries from an answering service.
  • Collaborate with OBHG hospitalists, surgical assistants, and nursing staff.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified in OB / GYN
  • Active Virginia medical license
  • DEA certification
  • ABOG certification and BLS required
  • Local to the area, as only mileage is reimbursed

    • Working Hours

  • Varied shifts as scheduled, including on-call and weekend duties.

    • Skills

  • Proficiency in relevant OB / GYN procedures such as C-sections and suction D&C.
  • Ability to manage abnormal bleeding and laborist tasks for unreferred patients.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Adept with EPIC EMR for efficient patient documentation.
