Imaging Sales Specialist, Light Sheet

Come join a fantastic team! The Imaging Sales Specialist, Light Sheet is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins for our light sheet and volumetric imaging product portfolio across North America.

In this national role, the Imaging Sales Specialist, Light Sheet will report directly to the Director of Market Development and successfully engage and work cross-functionally with the Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Confocal Sales Specialists, and Applications Specialists in each region.

This role is responsible for establishing professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Executive Leaders as appropriate in customer accounts, as well as expand Leicas footprint in the light sheet market space.

Additionally, the Imaging Sales Specialist, Light Sheet will be responsible for influencing, driving, and reporting on our commercial strategy and interfacing with Leica and Danaher stakeholders.

Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide expert commercial and technical knowledge of the assigned product portfolio, application, and software for our customers in order to provide the appropriate solution.

Provide expert sales support to all internal stakeholders to build account-based and market-based strategies

• Determine the needs of the customer and build effective value propositions with the selling team. Work with customers or other experts to generate the appropriate field data and application notes which highlight product benefits and helps differentiate Leica products
• Create technical quotes to meet customer needs and perform the technical close of an opportunity
• Execute on prospecting and lead maturation activities within the defined market segment and product portfolio
• Perform successful product demonstrations and present demo reports to progress sales opportunities and drive sales results while working in a team selling environment by providing positive motivation and collaborative work to meet regional target.

YOUR PROFILE

• BS degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field
• 3+ years of technical selling experience in research markets addressing organoid, 3D Cell Culture, volumetric imaging, or light sheet applications
• 4+ years in a research, quality-control or production environment, applying microscopy and digital imaging techniques to drive results
• Knowledge of the broader microscopy market and technical knowledge of microscopy and associated biological applications

Preferred :

MS, or PhD degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific

The salary range for this role is $95,000 -$100,00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
