Overview

We are seeking a strategic, full-cycle Talent Advisor to lead skilled labor recruitment and manage a premier client account in the New Bedford Area . This is a high-impact, client-facing role vital to driving essential hiring and expanding future business opportunities with this key partner.

The Opportunity & Advancement

This is a long-term contract opportunity offering a competitive role with significant potential for advancement . Success in this position can lead to growth and maturity into a multi-account leadership role within our organization. You will be working within our new Mid Market RPO division with Randstad Sourceright.

Key Focus : Sourcing Skilled Trades

You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for specialized skilled labor and leadership talent, with a particular focus on filling challenging off-shift positions (2nd and 3rd shifts) . The ideal candidate understands the unique strategies needed to attract and secure talent for these schedules.

Roles to be recruited include :

  • Mechanical Technicians
  • Electro-Mechanical Technicians
  • Supervisors
  • Team Leads

Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership : Serve as the primary, trusted advisor and day-to-day point of contact for the client's hiring managers, HR staff, and leadership.
  • Strategic Recruitment : Drive the full-cycle recruitment process, developing effective sourcing and engagement strategies for all roles, with a focus on off-shift talent acquisition.
  • Market Expertise : Leverage deep knowledge of the local New Bedford market and specific strategies for recruiting off-shift personnel to effectively consult with and guide client partners.
  • Pipeline Development : Proactively build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified skilled professionals to meet both immediate and long-term business needs.
  • Business Growth : Support efforts to strengthen and expand our RPO partnership with the client.
  • Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a full-cycle recruiter focused on skilled labor, technical, or manufacturing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a strategic recruiter, successfully managing a client account and acting as a consultant to hiring teams.
  • Prior success in recruiting for off-shift schedules (2nd / 3rd shift) is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience within the New Bedford and surrounding market is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are required.
  • Schedule Requirement : Must be comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement , requiring on-site presence a couple of times per month and as needed for client meetings.
