Job Summary :
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to, focusing on continuous improvement of our forging equipment and processes using sound engineering principles & practices and project leadership.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Perform all work-related functions in a safe and orderly manner
- Must have strong knowledge and experience with v, PLCs, AB ControlLogix, or other brands
- Lead and direct the electrical and instrumentation departments reliability and training initiatives.
- Electrical reliability programs to improve the reliability of instrumentation and electrical distribution systems.
- Lead and direct specialty contractors.
- Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs
- Equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Direct and coordinate installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment
- Perform any other duties assigned

- The Electrical Engineer Position requires an individual that is self-motivated to continually increase knowledge base to make the Maintenance Department more effective and the company more competitive.

Education and Experience :
- to years experience working in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to such safety hazards heavy fork truck traffic, ability to work around steel parts heated to over F and automated equipment such as conveyors and Robots.
