Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Baring, WA. In this school-based role, you will work with students to address and manage physical impairments, helping them to enhance their functional abilities and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate students physical abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and daily activities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and student outes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students physical therapy needs and progress.
- Stay updated on the latest practices and advancements in physical therapy.
Qualifications :
- Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington.
- Certification or experience in pediatrics is preferred.
- Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
