Reporting to the Manager of Radiology this position provides health care services, applying x-ray energy, computer processing or pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist in diagnoses or treatment;
performs related procedures producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner while exercising professional judgment in performance of services, and applies appropriate patient care recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with advanced certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required if assigned to CT.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Certification by the State of California (CRT) required.
- Certification by the State of California in Fluoroscopy required for Radiology Tech II and above.
- MAB test required within 6 months of hire if assigned to work in the Emergency Department. Not required for Cath Lab.
- IV contrast injections certification required within 6 months of hire.
