The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with and assisting the Manager of Learning and Development and others company-wide to design, develop, deliver, and maintain a high-quality training and development program for Delt employees and leaders.
The L&D Coordinator is focused on initiatives that will improve the productivity, performance, and compliance, while enhance employee engagement and retention.
The L&D Coordinator is focused on collaborative efforts that will meet organizational culture and scale capabilities and build organizational brand.
The Coordinator will effectively perform this role to fulfill other assignments as assigned and flex into other roles as assigned.
Essential Duties Development and Design Assists with : Conduct needs assessment to identify the training and development needs.
Prepare training plans, including scope, and design documents, budget, etc.Conduct research necessary to develop course content, including the alignment of work flow, work procedures and work guidelines.
Prepare course materials including agenda, facilitator, participant, and user guides, presentations and posters using company software, templates and document management systems.
Validate course materials with client, subject matter experts, and through pilot presentation and course evaluation. Implementation Assists with : Coordinates and schedules training including facilitators, participants and facility set-up.
Facilitates and co-facilitates group and one-on-one training.Is the Subject Matter Expert or substitute trainer for assigned courses on a weekly and an as needed basis.
Documents training participation and examination results.Reviews course evaluations, examination results and job / knowledge performance to assess the effectiveness of the training and development program.
Prepare and maintain related training and development records and reports.Document workflow and work procedures. Employee Relations and Employee Engagement Foster a workplace environment consistent with the Delts values.
Systems Use and manage systems effectively. Think in terms of operational effectiveness, accessibility, security, and scalability.
Compliance and Reporting Comply with and document workflow and work procedures ensuring that appropriate controls and audit are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Leadership Provide technical leadership direction to clients and client groups.Work collaboratively with all Delts employees and business partners.
Project Management Develop and manage projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
Other Duties Other duties as assigned. Supervision Works under the direct supervision of the Learning and Development Manager.
This person trains, coaches and mentors exempt and nonexempt employees. This person does not supervise employees directly.
Job Qualifications Work Experience A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional retail, sales, service organization with emphasis on sales, service and / or business administration.
A minimum of 6 months of experience providing administrative assistance for a company-wide training and development program in, retail, customer service, or related profession.
Knowledge of various computer systems and applications.Familiar with the principals and practices of instructional design and learning theories.
Familiar with multi-media methods content delivery and supporting systems and databases.Demonstrated organizational and time management capabilities.
Attention to detail.Demonstrated client service and facilitation capabilities.Demonstrated project management capabilities.
Knowledge of various computer systems and applications.Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue.
Pay range of 17.50-18.50 / Hr DOE Education Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
