PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for an industrial manufacturing facility in Mooresville, NC . We are looking for individuals who specialize in operating band saws and tube benders.
You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Location : Mooresville, NC
Pay Rate : starting at $18 / hr.
Schedule : Monday - Thursday 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
Responsibilities :
- Setting up and operating : Adjusting cutting speed, feeds, and guides based on the material's type and thickness
- Monitoring : Checking for malfunctions and making adjustments as needed
- Verifying : Ensuring the accuracy of cuts
- Maintaining : Lubricating and performing routine preventative maintenance on the machine
- Inspecting : Looking for defects like missing teeth or broken wheels
- Following safety guidelines : Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Oversee and coordinate plant operations and activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
- Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
- Experience with metal fabrication and machine operation
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, and tape measures
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
