Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Urbana, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital enviment while exploring the charming city of Urbana.
Known for its vibrant community and proximity to the University of Illinois, Urbana offers a blend of cultural attractions and outdoor activities.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide acute care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, respiratory issues, and more.
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
- Quickly assess and triage patients based on severity of condition.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent ED nursing experience required.
- Licensure : Active RN license in Illinois.
- Certifications :
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.
- Stg assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
