We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work out of our Rancho Cucamonga office.
The Project Manager position is responsible for the successful management of fencing and guardrail projects. The Project Manager will manage the conceptual development of a construction project and will oversee its quality control, organization, scheduling, and implementation.
The Project Manager will oversee and ensure the project schedules and submittals are properly documented, maintained, and communicated.
The Project Manager will manage purchasing materials for projects and coordinating the logistics of delivery with the Superintendents.
The Project Manager will be directly involved in Company's safety initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the management of construction projects for the installation of Fencing and Guardrail.
- Ordering material for the projects and placing purchase orders.
- Coordinate material and equipment logistics with the project superintendent.
- Manage labor production.
- Manage Quotes / Bids / Estimates for all materials and labor for the project.
- Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendor for assigned scopes of work.
- Communicates as required to ensure subcontractor and vendor work is being done in accordance with the contract.
- Interacts with Engineering and Estimating with feedback on estimates, cost, best practices, etc.
- Participate in design review meetings.
- Assist the Project Superintendents to ensure a safe and quality project.
- Maintain daily paperwork (i.e., timecards, Field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence).
- Save all project documents in the appropriate folders in the shared drives.
- Updating project schedules and detailed cost reports to be reviewed.
- Be an active member in Company’s safety program.
- Preparation and oversee project close-out requirements including cost history, red line as-builts, and all other project controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 plus years of experience in construction.
- Fencing and Guardrail background.
- Will be required to effectively manage all essential job duties and meet assigned deadlines.
- Ability to manage and maintain onsite project documentation.
- Ability to schedule and coordinate all site work.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with people on all levels ensuring that all external and internal communication is carried out to a high standard.
- Highly motivated, driven and results oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
