PotomacWave is currently seeking a Program Management Analyst to join our team supporting a federal client in Washington, D.

C (Metro Accessible) ! This team is currently working on a hybrid schedule, going on-site once a week. The ideal candidate will have current experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, managing schedules, providing training, interacting with the customer, and working as a member of a team.

Responsibilities : Provides support for the performance of project assignments and activities. Develops and manages project plans and schedules that comply with the project's charter.

Directly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including risk management, performance management, program management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.

Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the projects. Employs expert communication skills needed to report on the progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as prepare documents associated with project management.

Ability to facilitate meetings with the client to elicit information, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.

Assist in writing contract deliverables such as Performance Management Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, and Governance documents.

Develops tools and templates related to project management. Ability to document As-Is and recommend To-Be processes for the customer.

Analyzes current processes, standard operating procedures, and multiple reporting mechanisms and recommend improvements, efficiencies, and best practices approaches.

Qualifications : Five (5) years of related Project Management experience or 3 years of experience and a Master's degree (education requirement can be substituted for professional experience).

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field which may include business administration, finance, accounting, engineering, economics, MIS, or another subject area.

Experience with Tableau. Strong interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills for interacting with and influencing team members, clients, thought leaders, and globally recognized subject matter experts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organization skills to balance and prioritize work. Strong human relations skills.

Good strategic management and planning skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to publicly represent the company with internal and external clients.

Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Proven ability to develop performance metrics. Experience providing customer support within a PMO office.

Knowledge of Project schedules and Process improvement. Certified PMP a plus.
