Job Summary :
As a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to our valued customers.
Operating a delivery vehicle, navigating assigned routes, and providing exceptional customer service are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a delivery van complying with all traffic rules and regulations.
- Load and arrange packages in the vehicle to prevent damage.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
- Verify and scan packages accurately before departure and upon delivery.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive relationships.
- Report any issues promptly to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
Qualifications :
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
- Strong navigation skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Working Conditions :
- Outdoor work with physical demands.
- Schedule may include weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs.
