This role is an opportunity to leverage Citi’s high-tech, high-touch relationship model.The Franchise Marketing CMO team is a key group within the U.

S. Personal Banking Marketing team that supports the Citi Retail Services marketing organization, focused on driving marketing initiatives across franchise partners.

The VP, Partner Marketing Manager will lead the marketing strategy and program delivery. The role is responsible for leading the development of short and long-term strategic credit marketing plans to drive new accounts, sales, receivables, and revenue growth.

Core responsibilities include : (1) Develop and own the annual marketing plan to drive growth - inclusive of campaign strategies, segmentation and offers,(2) Manage / facilitate necessary approvals for initiatives inclusive of funding approval, legal, and compliance(3) Work with the client and agencies to create best-in-class marketing communications that drives customer action,(4) Partner with cross functional teams including Risk and Decision management to assess performance, optimize and sharing learnings,(5) Ensure all campaigns adhere to all legal, compliance, and control requirements and documentation is properly maintained.

The VP, Best Buy Portfolio Marketing Manager will serve as a primary day-to-day contact with Citi’s Partner Management team, internal cross-functional teams, as well as the Partner to drive new accounts and usage that will generate profitable sales for both Citi and the Partner.

The incumbent will be expected to challenge the status quo and drive innovation through digital and traditional marketing channels, integration in the customer shopping journey and targeting optimization.

Build annual engagement plan of record to drive retail and credit sales growth, with ongoing monitoring of key program performance indicators, including sales and accounts.

Develop program strategy and provide marketing leadership to cross-functional teams and external agencies to successfully implement integrated marketing plans designed to optimize account acquisitions and drive profitable sales.

Closely align with Partner Management team to develop shared goals and objectives, define priorities, and deliver consistent voice to partners.

Ensure adherence to all business and regulatory requirements, including Legal, Fair Lending, and Compliance. Strong focus on improving internal compliance processes with key partner by leveraging strong project management and organizational skills.

Working closely with legal to develop processes to secure legal approvals more efficiently. Maintain oversight of marketing campaigns and key deliverables of credit marketing initiatives across teams.

Facilitate / lead strategic and tactical marketing discussions with Partners. Create presentations and other documentation for both external Partner meetings as well as internal reviews.

Develop and maintain partner marketing calendars. Manage annual financial budget for applicable programs, including monthly forecast, and budget reconciliation.

Collaborate with Decision Management to monitor / analyze campaign performance for optimization and to recommend new initiatives for growth.

Partner with marketing colleagues to share best practices and ensure alignment across businesses. Leverage research and data tools to make informed decisions.

Requirements6 - 10 years of working experience in similar roles.Knowledge of private label and / or co-brand credit card marketing programs and performance driversAbility to analyze / interpret data and leverage that data to develop smart marketing strategiesExperience leveraging multiple marketing channels to maximize ROITrack record of successfully managing complex marketing programs in a highly matrixed team environmentPartner / client-facing experienceStrong understanding of marketing principlesBachelor’s degree required, MBA in Business, Marketing or Marketing Management preferred or equivalent work experience.

Strong team player; ability to lead, partner and negotiate with cross functional team to successfully deliver resultsDemonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize and manage projectsAbility to lead cross-functional team (including CMO, Business Operations, Decision Management, Finance, IT)Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsSolid project management skills with strong attention to detailPromotes a strong culture of teamwork across organizational boundariesAwareness of regulatory environment and impact on credit card marketing Job Family Group : Marketing Job Family : Marketing Program Management Time Type : Full time Primary Location : New York New York United States Primary Location Full Time Salary Range : $129,840.
