About The Position
Job Title : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP) Job Specialty : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : - Monday-Friday : 4 PM-8 AM (16 hours) - Saturday-Sunday : 2 PM-8 AM (18 hours) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Experienced NNPs comfortable being in-house alone preferred.
License : Must have valid Arizona License Certifications : - Board Certified - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - DEA required Must-Have : Clean background and malpractice record Job Description : Conduct a call interview or Zoom meeting with the Site Medical Director / Clinical Leadership.
- Engage in cross-credentialing as required.- NNPs are in-house 24 / 7; Neonatologists available in-house from 8 AM-5 PM.
- Cover NICU and attend high-risk deliveries.- Occasionally assist with the newborn nursery if the baby has already been seen.
- Neonatologists see nursery babies within the first 24 hours; NNPs follow through to discharge.- High level of independence required in managing the unit.
