Summary :
This roleis responsible for leading project management initiatives drivingchange and continuous improvement recommendations for all aspectsof materials and inventory management within Quera.
The Managerwill enhance and implement best practices to ensure accurateinventory counts controls recurring reporting and reconciliationsof inventory while enhancing quality delivery cost performance andvendormanagement.
Responsibilities :
- Planschedule and monitor the efficient movement of material fromidentification of the requirement to delivery to the enduser.
- Optimize inventory control procedures andwork with ERP system inputting and managing data to create atransparent efficient management ofinventories.
- Assess suppliers to securecostefficient agreements while preserving trustingrelationships.
- Develops raw materialrequirements and scheduling requirements from engineeringspecifications and production schedules and coordinates materialmovement.
- Utilize Material RequirementsPlanning (MRP) systems to effectively time phase material toservice cash flow objectives and programschedules.
- Monitor and reconcile any relevantSupply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the programlifecycle.
- Develop strategies implement plansand track progress for cost savingsinitiatives.
Qualifications :
- BS / BAwith at least 7 years of experience of functional and operationalexperience in the Supply Chain Management and Operations domainideally within a manufacturing / productionenvironment.
- Highlyrefined business acumen withdemonstrable expertise in driving bestinclass supply chainprocesses efficiencies policies tools andregulations.
- Experience in driving toresolution complex supplier issues in collaboration with suppliersengineering scientists and related internalteams.
- High level of proficiency in MS Officesuite procurement and ERPsystems / tools
