A company is looking for an Advanced Nuclear Reactor Design EngineerKey Responsibilities : Perform core design and analysis activities of advanced nuclear reactorsDevelop neutronics models of advanced reactor systems with complex geometryContribute to early design efforts of commercial applications of MCFR technologyRequired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or equivalent;
Advanced degree preferred with 2+ years of nuclear analysis experienceExperience in core design and analysis, including fuel cycle analysis, radiation damage rate calculation, and control rod worth calculationKnowledge of nuclear engineering software such as ARMI, MCNP, DIF3D, etcStrong programming skills in Python, C++, Git, and Github experienceExperience with CAD (Solidworks, Creo, etc.
required and experience with generation of unstructured meshes preferred
