Soliant is seeking a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel contract in Yuma, AZ, with a focus on evaluations of preschool students!
What is a travel contract?
- Would you be arranging separate housing while on assignment?
- Would you be commuting 75+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for housing and / or meals and incidentals stipend, an untaxed allowance that helps you with expenses incurred while on assignment.
Responsibilities include :
- Evaluating children referred for possible speech delays
- Completing reports based on available data on student's eligibility for speech services
- Making recommendations for appropriate goals and a therapy schedule that supports the child's needs
- If needed, serving as part of a multi-disciplinary team in developing an IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) for children with exceptional needs
- Documenting student progress, and presenting this information to periodic meetings with staff and family.
We seek applicants with the following competencies :
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
- Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
Requirements :
- SLP license from the ArizonaBoard of Speech and Hearing
- Fingerprint clearance card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety
