We are looking for a Compensation Director who will play a key role in providing strategic direction for Hasbro’s compensation programs! They will partner with HR, Finance and business leaders to develop compensation programs that support business strategy, align with Hasbro’s culture and attract & retain top talent and position Hasbro as an employer of choice.

This role leads the Global Compensation team providing quality consulting in support of Hasbro’s mission. The role has three direct reports and will require an experienced leader who can partner with HR and the business to identify new opportunities to continuously improve our compensation impact.

This is a hybrid role and can be located in our Pawtucket, RI, Renton, WA, New York, NY or Burbank, CA office.

A day in the life of a Compensation Director :

  • Lead annual compensation planning processes including the development of comprehensive communications materials and leader education.
  • Lead end-to-end compensation projects from initial concept to successful delivery.
  • Play a key role in driving transformation in our Human Resource Organization.
  • Design and manage effective recognition programs.
  • Lead global communication and education initiatives related to compensation programs including change management activities.
  • Ensure all compensation activity is delivered in compliance with local employment laws and regulations, Hasbro Global / Regional Policies and Standards, and Hasbro Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Sales Reward Program globally including full oversight of policy and process. Partner with the business to ensure that the program remains externally competitive and drives business results.
  • Manage, develop, coach and mentor members of the Total Rewards Team.

What you’ll bring :

  • Considerable experience and proven track record of leading all aspects of Compensation in a global organization.
  • Deep technical expertise with base-pay, short and long-term incentive programs on a global level.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of compensation strategies and policies.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed and global organization, working across cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to make quality decisions in the face of ambiguity.
  • Ability to adapt and learn, as well as inspire change.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the U.S. salary range for this role : $136,000 - 252,000. Starting salaries will vary within the stated range based on various factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skill set, knowledge, education, performance, market demands and budgetary considerations.

The range listed is just one component of Hasbro’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for annual and long-term incentives.
