How you'll make an impact Primarily focused on ensuring the Claims Operation is in compliance with operational controls and client servicing expectations, where applicable.
Tasked with : executing internal audits of operational controls compiling performance metrics identifying the root cause(s) of control deficiencies developing / monitoring control deficiency remediation plans Responsibilities include : conducting internal operational audits gathering documentation for external operational audits performing control design reviews to identify risks and control weaknesses making recommendations to the Claims Operation for improvements to control execution Additional duties may include : preparation of monthly reports assisting with design and implementation of controls to strengthen the control environment and mitigate risk specialized projects supports the promotion and education of the importance of internal controls with cross functional partners About You Required : Bachelor's degree 5 years relevant claims handling experience Proficiency in MS Office applications, and related claims and business software Preferred : Experience in property and casualty claims handling and / or insurance industry or third party administrator experience Exposure to audit in addition to claims background and strong process management skills Solid understanding of internal controls Experience with process flows and process narrative documentation Behaviors : Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and establish priorities Detail-oriented problem solver with proven ability to evaluate processes, controls and issues to determine the risks Proven ability to facilitate discussions with Division Leaders and bring closure to control issues High ethical standards #LI-TL1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
