Job Title : Systems Administrator
Location : Remote
Duration : 12 months + (Possible Extension)
Clearance : Active Secret Clearance
Job Description :
Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS systems including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives
Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
Administer cloud and on premise linux systems
Ensure that systems are compliant with DoD / Army security guidelines while still maintaining all necessary functionality
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
Managing cloud environments in accordance with DoD / Army security guidelines
Basic Qualifications :
BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
Experience in several of the following areas :
systems administration
system architecture
cloud migration
system automation
big data
advanced analytics
Experience deploying and administering complex data storage and processing solutions in the cloud using native or non-native cloud services
U.S. citizenship
Position of Public Trust or DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications :
Active DoD Secret clearance
AWS certification
Experience supporting AWS Govcloud
Active DoD 8570 certificate such as Comptia Security+
