The Opportunity
Fortune 500 telecommunications company seeks a Real Estate Account Analyst in Canonsburg, PA. The position is hybrid : Tuesday through Thursday in the local office, with Monday and Friday as optional WFH days. This is a long-term, temporary assignment expected to last at least 12 months, possibly longer. The hourly rate is $25-$30 depending upon experience, plus benefits.
Primary Duties
The Real Estate Account Analyst ensures the accuracy of financial data and records in the JDE Property Management system, supporting proper payments, billing corrections, and escalations related to landlord and customer accounts.
- Reconciles landlord accounts by reviewing ledgers against legal contracts; recommends adjustments and processes corrections in JDE.
- Communicates with landlords via phone and email to explain contract terms and reconciliation outcomes, including overpayment recovery.
- Reviews and interprets legal documents to verify billing and payment accuracy; coordinates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Updates JDE to correct data issues affecting billing, payments, and FAS13 financials, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Manages recurring financial processes including escalations, terminations, and FAS13 adjustments.
- Supports special projects and exception accounts requiring detailed analysis and reporting.
- Understands JDE data flow and field usage related to billing, escalation, and financial adjustments.
- Meets monthly deadlines for financial updates and reporting.
Requirements
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferredOne (1) to two (2) years of Accounting experienceExperience reviewing legal real estate contracts is preferred but not requiredAt least two (2) years in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environmentStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and interpersonal communicationExcellent PC skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelAbility to comprehend legal documentsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyWorking knowledge of accounting principlesStrong analytical, reporting, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and meet monthly deadlinesJDE experience is a plus but not requiredThe Partnership
