Our latest venture, DDx, is an AI-driven, case-based learning tool that provides medical students with a dynamic platform to hone their clinical skills in an engaging and supportive environment.

As DDx grows within the Sketchy family, we are on the lookout for a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to spearhead our sales and marketing efforts.

We are seeking a highly motivated H ead of Sales and Marketing to drive the market introduction and expansion of DDx. You will be at the forefront of our efforts, shaping and executing strategies to bring our product to medical schools and beyond, including new international markets.

This role demands a hands-on leader who can develop comprehensive sales strategies, build and manage a sales pipeline, enhance our market presence, and build a team.

The Head of Sales and Marketing will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to bring DDx to market and drive adoption among medical schools.
  • Build and manage a sales plan, including forecasting and tracking against revenue goals.
  • Build and lead a customer focused sales team as traction develops : recruit, interview, hire, coach, and mentor sales team.
  • Maintain a cultural pulse on the enterprise business unit and ensure the team is living up to Sketchy’s values.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including nursing, physician assistant (PA), psychology, international medical schools, and other educational sectors.
  • Develop and refine pricing and packaging strategies in close collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Engage with Finance, and functional stakeholders to produce annual plans and ad-hoc projections. Weekly reporting of performance, with diagnosis of variance and plans to improve.
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase product visibility.
  • Engage directly with potential customers, conduct product demonstrations, and close sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the founders to align on strategic direction and business goals.
  • Initially work with a limited team and resources, with the ability to build and expand the team as needed.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for the revenue of the DDx business line.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Proven track record in successfully bringing enterprise products to market within the medical education, health education or enterprise health training industry.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach to solving problems and executing strategies.
  • Experience in scaling sales and marketing operations from inception.
  • Strong skills in sales planning, forecasting, and execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and adaptive startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Willingness to travel to conferences and events to promote DDx and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Resourceful, innovative, and capable of working with limited resources initially.
