Global Logistics Manager

As the Global Logistics Manager, you will lead all strategic, tactical logistics & logistics procurement activities related to imports and exports into and out of the U.S. and Canada. This role partners cross-functionally with global stakeholders to ensure the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods. This leader also plays a key role in trade compliance alignment, vendor negotiations and procurement, and freight & payment audit oversight. This role reports to the Director of Global Logistics and is a hybrid position in our Milwaukee Headquarters.

How you will do it :

  • Lead strategic initiatives and develop synergies across all Clarios global regions
  • Act as a strategic escalation point for all global logistics issues with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Champion the implementation and management of a global Order and Origin Management system.
  • Manage and develop direct report(s)
  • Align closely with Global Trade Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Support internal stakeholders (e.g., Global Metals, Manufacturing, Engineering) with customized logistics solutions and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Source and oversee freight audit and payment providers, improving service quality and system integrations.
  • Establish and manage global Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with international providers.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor logistics cost savings and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Lead global logistics improvement projects and continuous process enhancements.
  • Develop KPI dashboards to increase transparency and enable data-driven decisions.
  • Resolve data integrity gaps in origin management and visibility platforms.
  • Execute transformation roadmap across inbound materials, components, batteries, and recyclables.
  • Streamline global logistics through global collaboration with suppliers, plants, and partners.
  • Establish logistics policies and SOPs that ensure efficient, customer-centric operations.
  • Advance circular economy objectives through improved logistics execution and material flow.

What we look for : Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in international logistics, procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics provider negotiations and contract management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, or leading process changes within an organization.
  • Proficient in logistics systems (TMS / OMS), freight audit platforms, and data analytics tools (Power BI).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and thrive in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with global stakeholders from diverse cultures.
  • Experience with transformational initiatives and network redesign.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Preferred :
