Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to oversee and manage various occupational health programs within our organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating programs to ensure they align with organizational goals and meet client needs.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Oversee FOH activities within a designated area or program, such as the development and pricing of new interagency agreements.
- Coordinate FOH resources to meet both urgent and ongoing needs, ensuring that activities align with FOH policies and guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to FOH staff, facilitating training and orientation for new account managers or other program staff using FOH Orientation manuals, materials, and websites appropriate to their roles.
- Account Management :
- Review and manage account billing on a monthly and annual basis for the designated area, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and FOH to ensure consistent application of FOH policy, reduce liability, and prevent duplication of efforts.
- Understand and support the FOH mission statement, and be knowledgeable about all FOH programs and products, effectively communicating the value of comprehensive OH within the designated area.
- Program Coordination and Problem Solving :
- Coordinate and resolve account activities to maintain consistency and meet client expectations.
- Implement new programs by acting as a liaison between agency customers and FOH, ensuring compliance with specific service requirements outlined in agreements.
Secondary Responsibilities :
- Program Implementation :
- Administer selected agreements as required, ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the terms of the agreement and FOH standards.
- Assist with the continuous development and enhancement of program processes and documentation to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, for managing program documentation and data analysis.
- Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring program success and growth.
Designated Areas of Focus : Examples of designated areas include, but are not limited to, Law Enforcement and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) programs.
The Program Manager will be expected to understand the specific needs and requirements of these areas and manage them effectively.
Impact : The Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of FOH programs by overseeing the implementation and management of key initiatives.
Through effective coordination, communication, and leadership, the Program Manager contributes to the overall mission of FOH by delivering high-quality occupational health services to federal clients.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in effectively managing relationships with organizations of varying sizes, representing diverse backgrounds, viewpoints, and levels of authority, including labor union and management issues related to Occupational Health (OH).
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as evidenced through experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, basic computer use, and website navigation.

Compensation : Min : $60,000 Max : $80,000. Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
