The Automotive Sales Consultant at Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers.

They will need to have a strong knowledge of the automotive industry and be able to provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers to identify their vehicle needs, and lead them through the sales process including vehicle / car selection, test drive, personalization, financing, and paperwork.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new and used vehicles / cars
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) tool to effectively track all customer interactions
  • Present customer deal structure and additional finance products
  • Follow up with customers and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Complete all ongoing training modules to keep abreast new vehicle products, features, accessories, etc.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
  • Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle.
  • Engage in business development, contacting prospects and clients via phone and email.

Requirements :

  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license
  • Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
