Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A maternity leave Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Elkhorn, Nebraska. This leave replacement position offers an opportunity to support a diverse caseload within a structured educational environment from January through March, with potential for an earlier start in December if needed.

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid Nebraska state SLP license
  • Nebraska teaching certificate
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students ranging from kindergarten to age 21
  • Demonstrated skills in conducting evaluations, case management, and collaborative IEP development

Position Details :

  • Contract duration : Approximately January 5th to March 27th (maternity leave coverage)
  • Weekly hours : 37.5
  • Workdays : Monday through Friday, following the school calendar
  • Caseload size : 40-50 students requiring speech and language services at various developmental levels
  • Responsibilities include administering speech and language evaluations, managing caseloads, planning and delivering lessons, preparing progress reports, and actively participating in MDT and IEP meetings
  • On-site position currently, with use of VOCO technology for assessment and intervention
  • Working in this dynamic school setting provides direct impact on student communication development through individualized therapy and collaborative educational planning. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
