Job Details
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional to support the Controller in all aspects of the department’s operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Controller with daily, monthly, and annual accounting tasksMaintain standard ledger entries and perform monthly account reconciliations, including inventoryRecord payroll-related ledger entriesSupport monthly billing and invoice generationHandle month-end close activities and prepare bank reconciliationsOversee accounts payable and receivable, and assist with collectionsReview and analyze job cost dataMaintain Excel-based financial records, including depreciation tracking for two real estate LLCsSupervise 2–4 clerical staffServe as liaison with third-party tax accountantsTake on special projects as neededQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred)Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experienceFamiliarity with job costing and inventory accountingProficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.)Experience with QuickBooks requiredFamiliarity with Aspire Landscape Business software is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusProven ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented mindsetInterested in hearing more?
