Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr Principal Project Management - Infrastructure Project Manager (24-140) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will be out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Overview :

This person is responsible for working with multiple teams / Product Owners to assess resources needed to complete projects from start to finish.

This person will work extensively for the infrastructure group to help manage resources and timelines, including day-to-day work prioritization based on business value and impact on the warfighter.

As the infrastructure Project Manager, you must work with the business operations group to provide schedule updates based on project status.

Lastly, this person would participate in increment program planning to identify infrastructure project dependencies and need dates to support software and hardware installation.

Essential Functions :

  • Experience in tracking and reporting status for Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Coordinated meetings to go over / capture requirements for infrastructure to support.
  • Assisted in building project plans to ensure requirements were met based on resource availability.

Basic Qualifications :

  • An active Top-Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS / SCI clearance.
  • 10 years with a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field; 14 years experience in lieu of a degree or 8 years experience with a Masters degree.
  • 5+ years working with system admin, network engineer, and software development teams.
  • 5+ years building project plans and organizing groups to manage personnel resources.
  • 3+ years working in an Agile environment.
  • May function in project leadership roles and represent the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.

Preferred Qualifications :

Active TS / SCI clearance is highly desired.

Salary Range : $99,900 - $149,900

$99,900 - $149,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
