We are hiring RN's with experience caring for a patient on ventilator with a g-tube and trach. We have 12 hour night shifts available - full time hours to fit your availability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the DON and the physician's plan of care and orders
• Follow physicians orders and ensure compliance with plan of care
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical / progress notes and all required documentation
• Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient
• Perform all duties and responsibilities always adhering to Florida chapter 464 - Nurse Practice Act
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
• Current state license as an RN in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• At least ONE year experience as an RN
• Experience with total trach care, ventilators and G-tubes required
