Job Overview
The Behavioral Health Placement Specialist supports a clinical team composed of Therapists, Social Workers, Counselors and Nurses who provide mental health assessments for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care.
This role is responsible for screening and assessing the patients’ needs, accurately documenting patient information and appropriately scheduling appointments with practitioners based on intake assessments and provider matrix.
The position is responsible for recommending the appropriate level of care and screening for safety for various behavioral health programs.
