Brief Department / Job Description
RTX Enterprise Services has an opening for a Facilities Material Planner within our Enterprise Real Estate Services Organization.
As a member of the Northeast Facilities Team, the Material Planner supports acquiring any and all Facilities related materials and service requirements.
This is accomplished through the use of multiple procurement tools and systems at their disposal. Duties will include PRISM / APEX purchase requisition creation, ordering and administration of multiple blanket orders, database input and management, invoice reconciliation and year-end financial close-out of open commitments.
Additionally, the successful candidate may manage a facilities storeroom inventory management system and expedite critical path materials and services in support of production and facilities related project work.
The use and administration of a Corporate Credit Card is also a requirement of this role.
Responsibilities
- Contact and engagement with numerous suppliers and service contractors
- Close collaboration with the respective NE Facilities Site and Project teams to support procurement needs.
- Manage day-to-day procurement transactions
- Collaboration with the Supply Chain support teams and buyers to expedite purchase order placement.
- Order and delivery tracking
- Invoice reconciliation and PO closeouts
Qualifications you must have
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in procurement, supplier / contractor management and supporting Facilities operations.
- At least 3 years of experience with any of the following systems : PRISM APEX purchase ordersSAP system.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- This is a fast-paced position that requires multi-tasking and proven time management skills.
Education Experience and / or Certifications
This role typically requires a bachelors degree in an applicable field and 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years,
Required Security Clearance (NA)

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
